Terms of Service

This page is maintained by the SudsPick team to answer common questions. It is a plain-language template — review with a lawyer in your jurisdiction before relying on it.

These Terms ("Terms") govern your use of SudsPick, operated by Nicole Lavoie ("we", "us"). By using SudsPick you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

SudsPick is a cleaning-task picker and streak tracker. A free tier is available without an account. SudsPick Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional tasks, custom tasks, room filters, cloud sync, and full celebration animations.

Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Subscription, billing & renewals

  • Plans: SudsPick Pro is $5.99 USD per month or $39.99 USD per year, plus applicable taxes.
  • Free trial: New Pro subscribers get a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until canceled.
  • Payment: Billing is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method.
  • Price changes: We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply to the next renewal.

Acceptable use

  • Don't misuse the service, attempt to break it, reverse engineer it, or use it to harm others.
  • Don't upload unlawful content or use SudsPick in violation of applicable laws.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of the task lists you create. You grant us a limited license to host and display that content solely to operate the service for you.

Our intellectual property

SudsPick, including its name, logos, code, and design, is owned by Nicole Lavoie. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

Disclaimers

SudsPick is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nicole Lavoie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using SudsPick at any time and cancel your subscription via the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate the service or your account for violations of these Terms or for security reasons.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue for disputes will be the courts of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, unless a mandatory local law provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Your continued use of SudsPick after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
